Clients should be realistic in their expectations, and understand that this procedure can only occur lightening of the tattoo and not full removal. Clients should expect anywhere between 3-6 sessions before they see the end result.

One month prior to your appointment you will need to stop using any retinol or vitamin A products on the area to be treated.

Two weeks before your appointment avoid sunbeds, invasive skin treatments such as chemical peels and botox.

To minimise excessive bleeding we ask that you avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or any other blood-thinning medication for 1 week prior to your appointment. Alcohol and caffeine can also contribute so it is best to avoid these 24-48 hours before also.

Two days before your appointment avoid waxing and tinting.

Please arrive to your appointment with clean, make-up free skin and ensure you are hydrated and are not on an empty stomach.

In the next 10 days following the procedure the area will scab/flake and fade gradually.

It is recommended that for at least 5 days following the procedure you avoid getting the area wet, including sweating and swimming. Make-up cannot be applied on the area for 10 days. You must be careful not to rub, pick or scratch the area whilst healing. Sun exposure must be avoided for minimum 2 weeks. An aftercare balm will be provided which can be applied up to 3 times a day to improve healing.
