The amount of gum shown when you smile can be reduced through the use of Botulinum Toxin (botox). The botox is injected into the area between the upper lip and the nose to help to reduce the movement of muscle. This will prevent the top lip from rising as much and prevents a large amount of gum being visible when smiling.
