PRP injections or a vampire facial involves blood being drawn from the clients arm and then placing it into a centrifuge to separate the plasma and platelets from the red blood cells to create platelete-rich-plasma (PRP). Platelets are well known for their growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing. After creating platelet-rich plasma from a patient's blood sample, that solution is injected into the target area to help with multiple concerns such as hair loss or thinning, scarring and stretch marks, and dark under eye bags.
